Cookies and browser storage

Menswear Map uses only essential cookies and simple browser storage. We do not use advertising, affiliate-tracking, or optional analytics cookies, so there is no optional tracking to accept or reject.

Secure sign-in cookies

• A secure session cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days, or until you sign out.
• Short-lived security cookies prevent forged sign-in requests and complete Google sign-in.
• A callback cookie returns you to the appropriate page after signing in.
• A terms cookie lasts for 10 minutes while a new Google account is being created.

These cookies are HTTP-only where appropriate, which means page scripts cannot read them.

Map preferences

On a first visit, Cloudflare may provide an approximate country derived from the visitor's IP address so the map can open in a useful place. Menswear Map does not store that result in its database. A VPN or mobile network can occasionally identify the wrong country.

• Your selected map country is stored on your device until you clear browser storage.
• Search and filter choices are kept for the current browser-tab session.
• Your acknowledgement of the cookie notice is stored until you clear browser storage.

External services

Loading the map requests tiles from OpenStreetMap, which receives normal connection information such as your IP address. Google receives information when you choose Google sign-in or deliberately use a Google-powered place search. See the Privacy Notice for details.

Changing your choices

You can delete cookies and site data through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in or account features from working. Clearing local storage resets the saved map country and displays the information notice again.
